An original docu-action format that closely follows four heroes whose job is to save the lives of others. Heli Levy – police officer, patrol unit officer at the Ashdod police, Eli Cohen – Team Commander at the Ashkelon fire station and District Spokesman, Dr. Dror Sofer – Head of the Trauma Unit at the Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv and Abigail Shimonov – a Trauma Coordinator Nurse at the Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv.

The format, built as a drama series, follows the heroes of the series almost 24/7 for months, during their action-packed professional routine, but also on their private lives and the personal price they have to pay for their demanding careers. The series was a success on screen and online and received overwhelming sympathy for its heroes. The original format was sold for broadcast in Spain, where two seasons were produced and broadcast on Cuatro channel under the name “Héroes, más allá del deber”.
